Lifes positivity Friend 07/07/2021 (Wed) 23:47:53 No.1234
Post something you did that was positive or kind. What you did today, things that you are passionate about, accomplishments. Anything positive. I am so sick of internet hostility and reading about the stuff that is affecting people around the world, I still feel for those people though and hope everyone makes it through their troubles,
I'm grateful for the good friends that I made from /kind/. Thank God for this place.
I am making a free game and it has over a hundred of regular players.

I played some vidya and had fun with it
I like my plants. They grow a bit every day, so something changes for the better in my environment. I have a little avocado, sweet potato, date palm and a covered plastic container with water, mud and many aquatic plants. There's also a small sweet potato vine in the aquatic plant container, just to see if it can grow without dry soil.
I know that some people have had a hard time during the lockdowns but I've had a hoot. I've been productive and positive throughout the whole thing and I've had a great time.
Discovered a bunch of new things I love.
I found some of my old floppy disks. They still work.
My shrimp seem to be breeding again. They carry eggs, at least.

I got some free food because the guy working didn't ask for my money. I guess that's a positive for me. I also saw a riced out mazdaspeed3 with a drift charm. That gave me a laugh. On a more positive note that isn't at anyone's expense, I have a job interview tomorrow. Looks like my time as a neet is coming to an end.
A spider settled on my balcony door. It sat there for few months, eating random flies. It grew big and molted at least twice.
>>1356 Interview went well. Now to see if they'll take a hardened criminal such as myself.
>>1368 >hardened criminal What
I helped a guy out, even though I probably shouldn't have. Idiot totalled his friend's new BMW. Fucking retards man. Never loan your car to someone friends.
>>1418 Retards can use help too. Though not in the form of being loaned expensive things.
>>1419 Yeah, I guess. I would have felt bad if I didn't check on the guy after seeing it happen. Nobody else would have seen the guy for a few hours at least either.
I've been looking through material related to earthing / grounding and found this video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44ddtR0XDVU Grounding supposedly has made a lot of peoples lives better, reconnecting with nature does the body good
My and my roommate made a cheesecake together and he ate so much he got sick.
I had lots of annoying flies keep sneaking into my house. Now I have 3 spiders which aren't annoying. They look well-fed, even though I don't see many flies anymore.
I have been reading instead of trying to talk with people online and wasting my time. I feel that is a positive.
>>1436 just to be clear I mean on social media apps. /kind/ is not watse of time friends for me at least
i recently got my first car still don’t have a license(get that soon) but have my permit so i can drive around with my parents
>>1443 What kind of car?
>>1435 For this reason, I let spiders chill in a porch room and if I find them inside the house, catch and release them there... unless my room mates notice and then I have to catch and release them outside before some panicked roomie smashes them.
>>1445 Spiders are gentle and they like to keep to themselves. Even venomous spiders are nice and have never hurt me. People try to kill all the spiders in their home and that is not right in my eyes. You are doing good thing by letting spiders make a home with you.

People occasionally tell me I'm doing good work with my game.
i am a poor and my main battle station is a frankenstein monster cobbled together with outdated spare parts. i have some fun retrogaming, but i'm sure some anons can relate to that feeling of constantly being a few years behind the curve. i run into an old friend and they ask if i can help out and do some work for them. of course, no problem. i don't charge them much because friend. they felt that i'm underpaid for what i did. here anon, have my old gaming rig. what, seriously? haven't had time to play lately and i'm going to be putting together a new build next paycheck anyway. holy fucking shit! all my free time just flew out the window and it's going to be vidya induced insomnia for a while as i catch up with so many titles that i haven't been able to play, but have been so wanting to. i thought i was doing them a huge favor and didn't expect this in return. not trying to humble brag, but if you find yourself in a position to do something like this for a friend, do so because it might not seem like a lot but can mean the world to them.

She also gave me some fashion advice, I now have 3 certified non-shitβ„’ outfits and it really boosts my confidence when I wear them. I even stopped just wearing the topmost clothing on the stack and started paying some attention to colors and fit, it's incredible what this little knowledge can do for looks and confidence.

>>1234 I helped a old colleague of my dad, who is retired, in his garden today because my dad had no time. Hard physical labor helped me escape the mental downward spiral, the landscaping turned out very pretty, and the old colleague was happy because he and his busted knee didn't have to move hundreds of kilos of dirt around. Maybe this CS stuff is not for me and I should just leave uni to become a machinist. My cat is learning my arbitrary but practical requirements. >has to lie down to ask for food >has to stay down while I'm putting food in the bowl >must tolerate being picked up and held stomach-up >no biting humans, ever >no scratching humans, ever It's not going very fast because it's a stressed, easily frustrated cat with some painful "life experiences", but consistency, clear messages and food rewards for a hungry cat all go a long way.

Today I helped an old lady climb up a steep street with her wheeled bag. She was really struggling, she was basically pulling herself up using the fence before I helped her. She told me a few weeks ago her sense of balance suddenly deteriorated a lot for no apparent reason... Getting old sounds terrifying.

Feeling better on 3 hours of sleep than I ever have on 8 hours.
> Anything positive. I am so sick of internet hostility and reading about the stuff that is affecting people around the world I totally agree with what you said. Well today I helped out with making food for thanksgiving, and I also have a job interview next week! I really hope it goes well tbh. Also glad I found this imageboard which seems like a more positive alternative to 4chan and even reddit lmaooo
> Feeling better on 3 hours of sleep than I ever have on 8 hours. I notice I feel the same way, it is so weird to me.
Got thing done after hours of overdesigning it and making it harder than I needed to. Got boring work thing done despite feeling like it would be painful to do it because of how boring it tends to be. Germinated a bunch of watermelon and habanero pepper seeds. Germinating is the easiest part, but at least they didn't rot. I let devil's ivy spread vines on one of the walls in my room. One is behind my desk. It's too dark for it there, so it lost all leaves, but the vines above are doing fine. Plants are nice. They're like a less pointless version of cookie clicker games. Easy mode ones, like snake plant, still "work", just slower.
>>3604 Good ppl on this board. Good ppl every where. Just have to know how/ where to look. 4 hours = ideal. I function best going to sleep around 12: am waking up at 3:30 - 4:00
I don't interact with people anymore because it always ends up with me being abused. I'm tired of carrying all these memories of their cancer. Every day another memory bothers and upsets me. God has ran out of Souls and we are living in the age where 99% of people are soulless flesh golems filled with the seed of satan(they are literal demons). I wish I could've had friends and a happy life in a peaceful neighborhood, but God wants me to suffer alone. I hope it'll all be worth it though and that I'd get to go to Heaven soon. I hope I get to watch as God deletes all the golems. Hopefully they'll exhibit a suffering expression. Then I hope God gives me my own island in Heaven where I can create a peaceful place and create and program people that won't hurt me.
>>3610 >Good ppl on this board. Good ppl every where. Just have to know howith where to look. And to tell them apart from the ones that fake it or think they're good so they don't need to try. It's not a trivial skill.
>>3951 I saw two of your posts, Anon. I'll try to answer both here. I'll try not to sound either judgmental, nor trite to you. >I don't interact with people anymore because it always ends up with me being abused. I'm tired of carrying all these memories of their cancer. Every day another memory bothers and upsets me. This part I know for certain you're not alone Anon. Millions upon millions of humans have a similar experience everyday tbh. Currently I myself am living like a modern hermit. While I have important work that's keeping me highly focused atm, still I actually find it quite a bit more comfortable literally being alone. Plus, I can concentrate my efforts far better this way. >I wish I could've had friends and a happy life in a peaceful neighborhood, but God wants me to suffer alone. >...I hope God gives me my own island in Heaven where I can create a peaceful place and create and program people that won't hurt me. One thing's for certain Anon; if you're a follower of Jesus Christ, if He's your Lord and Savior, then you have an unimaginably wonderful future ahead of you. Literally.Unimaginable. All of us Christians do, and no less than Paul the Apostle (arguably suffered as much and more for Christ than practically anyone else in history) said, >"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ," Dung. Rubbish that's here today and gone tomorrow Anon. The surpassing weight of glory in eternity for those entering into eternal life will make all our present sufferings fade into literal nothingness. I'm praying for you bro, stay encouraged!
