Lifes positivity Friend 07/07/2021 (Wed) 23:47:53 No.1234
Post something you did that was positive or kind. What you did today, things that you are passionate about, accomplishments. Anything positive. I am so sick of internet hostility and reading about the stuff that is affecting people around the world, I still feel for those people though and hope everyone makes it through their troubles,
>>1356 Interview went well. Now to see if they'll take a hardened criminal such as myself.
>>1368 >hardened criminal What
I helped a guy out, even though I probably shouldn't have. Idiot totalled his friend's new BMW. Fucking retards man. Never loan your car to someone friends.
>>1418 Retards can use help too. Though not in the form of being loaned expensive things.
>>1419 Yeah, I guess. I would have felt bad if I didn't check on the guy after seeing it happen. Nobody else would have seen the guy for a few hours at least either.
I've been looking through material related to earthing / grounding and found this video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44ddtR0XDVU Grounding supposedly has made a lot of peoples lives better, reconnecting with nature does the body good
My and my roommate made a cheesecake together and he ate so much he got sick.
I had lots of annoying flies keep sneaking into my house. Now I have 3 spiders which aren't annoying. They look well-fed, even though I don't see many flies anymore.
I have been reading instead of trying to talk with people online and wasting my time. I feel that is a positive.
>>1436 just to be clear I mean on social media apps. /kind/ is not watse of time friends for me at least
i recently got my first car still don’t have a license(get that soon) but have my permit so i can drive around with my parents
>>1443 What kind of car?
>>1435 For this reason, I let spiders chill in a porch room and if I find them inside the house, catch and release them there... unless my room mates notice and then I have to catch and release them outside before some panicked roomie smashes them.
>>1445 Spiders are gentle and they like to keep to themselves. Even venomous spiders are nice and have never hurt me. People try to kill all the spiders in their home and that is not right in my eyes. You are doing good thing by letting spiders make a home with you.

>OP here I didn't think anything was going to come out of this thread. I am glad to see people are still able to reflect on the good things in life! >>1445 Let the spiders stay, they are friends and I am noticing a lot of people are having a house fly issue this year. >>1437 Books increase your IQ while social media destroys it. >>1368 I sure hope you lead a better life post prison. Make sure you return that favor. >>1245 Gardening is an important skill, keep at it. >>1238 Spend that money wisely! >>1237 What is the game called? I wanna play.
People occasionally tell me I'm doing good work with my game.
i am a poor and my main battle station is a frankenstein monster cobbled together with outdated spare parts. i have some fun retrogaming, but i'm sure some anons can relate to that feeling of constantly being a few years behind the curve. i run into an old friend and they ask if i can help out and do some work for them. of course, no problem. i don't charge them much because friend. they felt that i'm underpaid for what i did. here anon, have my old gaming rig. what, seriously? haven't had time to play lately and i'm going to be putting together a new build next paycheck anyway. holy fucking shit! all my free time just flew out the window and it's going to be vidya induced insomnia for a while as i catch up with so many titles that i haven't been able to play, but have been so wanting to. i thought i was doing them a huge favor and didn't expect this in return. not trying to humble brag, but if you find yourself in a position to do something like this for a friend, do so because it might not seem like a lot but can mean the world to them.

I genuinely believe that, within one year, I may find myself in a position where It is, with extreme uncertainty, possible that I can find happiness and claw myself out of a hole I've been in for a very, very long time.
>>2019 Keep clawing.
>>2025 Yes sir.
>>2019 Don't stop fighting. Kindness and LOVE = the answer.
>>2198 please don't
I've been blessed with some free time recently.
>>2355 What will you build?
>>2364 I plan on getting a new bike today. Maybe I'll put it together myself. I don't know.
>>2370 Try not to go bananas with your new ride!

>>2388 I'll go bananas if I want to sir.
>>2416 Well, okaaayy, so long as you aren't quackers about it!
>>1234 I helped a friends gf pick components for a new PC. Having all this knowledge and finally putting some of it to use really makes me happy. She also gave me some fashion advice, I now have 3 certified non-shitβ„’ outfits and it really boosts my confidence when I wear them. I even stopped just wearing the topmost clothing on the stack and started paying some attention to colors and fit, it's incredible what this little knowledge can do for looks and confidence.

>>1234 I helped a old colleague of my dad, who is retired, in his garden today because my dad had no time. Hard physical labor helped me escape the mental downward spiral, the landscaping turned out very pretty, and the old colleague was happy because he and his busted knee didn't have to move hundreds of kilos of dirt around. Maybe this CS stuff is not for me and I should just leave uni to become a machinist. Or an electrician, some profession that is complex enough to avoid boredom but that produces actual, physical things you can admire.
I got a hamster today. She is cute.
