I have that problem too. In my case I think it's untreated sleep apnea (I'm not fat, but it runs in my family). I wish chronic fatigue syndrome was more understood so testing for that was a possibility.

I'm thinking about joining the military to get my shit sorted and force myself to improve while I'm still young. I dunno what else I could really do. It seems like the best path to take at this point.

I like AestheticGamer , Desilent 49, and けもみみおーこく/, or as the last one was formerly known: Virtual Youtuber Nojya Loli Ojii-san.
AestheticGamer has pretty comfy easygoing commentary and he likes to explore as much of a game as he can which I'm very happy about because I never liked how gaming youtubers just try (and fail) to get through a game as quickly as possible and skip text, ignore interesting things, and basically do everything wrong while being extremely annoying.
Desilent 49 is fun to watch because he actually has fun with the game and regularly goofs off but he always knows what he's doing too, even if he's bad at the game sometimes, unlike other youtubers I've watched where they just bumble around like a moron and never know what to do. He even has a friend there for his videos often and they always sound like they're having fun. I would watch his streams more but I never know when he's streaming.
I normally don't like vtubers, I actually really hate them, but nojya-loli feels a bit different since I got to watch his videos from very early on in his first channel's life and when he really was just some regular guy starting all of it on his own with his own skills. Knowing that about him makes me feel like he's different from what I assume most vtubers do, just jump on a trend for patreonbux and get orbiters to surround them in the process.

What are you all reading these days, friends? I am currently enjoying reading How to Eat, written by the Zen Buddhist monk Thich Nath Hanh. It is a very comfy and peaceful book on how to enjoy eating more. Here is an excerpt:

"Six food contemplations for young people:

1. The food is the gift of the whole universe: the Earth, the sky, the rain, and the sun.

2. We thank the people who have made this food, especially the farmers, the people at the market, and the cooks.

3. We only put on our plate as much food as we can eat.

4. We want to chew the food slowly so that we can enjoy it.

5. This food gives us energy to practice being more loving and understanding.

6. We eat this food in order to be healthy and happy, and to love each other as family".

¡Hola mis amigos! I thought it might be a good idea to create a language learning thread for any of us here that are learning another language so that we can pool our resources together and possibly help each other out. I'm assuming that not everyone that posts here is a native English speaker, so for those of you that aren't and feel that your English might not be up to snuff you can hopefully get help from those of us that are native English speakers. So regardless of what language you're learning or wanting to learn I'm hoping that we can use this thread to help and encourage us in our language learning endeavours.

I'm learning Spanish. I'm using a mixture of Duolingo, Memrise, Busuu and Lingvist to gradually learn the language. I have downloaded a bunch of ebooks about learning Spanish but I haven't actually started reading them. My current attempt at Spanish started almost 220 days ago (at least that's how long my current Duolingo streak has been going for) and although I'm still essentially illiterate in the language I have noticed I'm understanding more of the language. Despite Duolingo focusing on Latin American Spanish I'm more wanting to focus on Castilian Spanish, although I'm not particularly picky either.

Besides Spanish I have also started messing about with Italian a bit since I personally find Italian to be one of the nicest sounding languages out there. Italian is more of a side thing though.

So anyway, that's all I can think of for the time being. Good luck to everyone out there.

You should've made your sentence more coherent, though I can see why you've written it like that
>Thought of making Pico de Gallo =! Pensado en hacer pico de gallo
You should establish a sustantive.
He pensado en hacer pico de gallo.

Iyashikei and Moe,a sub-genres of slice-of-life, typically they have my favorite anime titles. they re what I focus on because it gives the same feeling as getting lost in the pictures of Hiroshige and Hokusai!

I find wholesome idyllic and relaxing works of art to be the superior type of media or AT LEAST in anime and manga

I read both horror and tragedic books and children comfy books. This is because i want to immerse my mind into absolute horror and bliss.

understanding their distinction. The idea that only artwork that puts emphasis on the cruelty or melancholy can be high art is a part of the reason the modern age is becoming madder. it is true that this world leans more towards the darkness and cruelty

But when I immerse my mind into Moominavalley or Iddyllic and peacful work of art it becomes real. IMO it is the best to forget this world and cling to the jewels of idyllic children/MOE art work as safe heavens to feebly resist the mocking tides of fate.

Escapism isn't good you know. Or solely using escapism to cope anyway.
I know it can be hard, but you have to take steps toward getting yourself out of the pit of suffering that you're in.
Escapism will only serve to further detach you from the world around you.

 No.981

>>960

Escapism is healthy in small doses but overdoing it leads to avoidance that only makes your problems worse.

It's normal to enjoy escapism provided it's not interfering with making progress in your life and keeping your attention away from problems you need to deal with. Robert Anton Wilson supposedly said that we live through our myths but only endure our realities, and that sounds about right to me. Enjoying a healthy amount of escapism can give you the encouragement to keep on pushing ahead when things look rough.

Yeah, I'll admit, I worded that poorly. I did mean to say that you shouldn't completely avoid your problems, if you can do anything about it.
